An intimate evening of poetry featuring John Lee—poet, teacher, and collaborator of Robert Bly in the Men’s Group Movement. Alongside John’s reading, we are blessed to gather with local poets sharing their deep, meaningful work and the poems that have shaped them.
Join us for an intimate, unplugged, acoustic music and sound experience with Matt Venuti! Leave electronics and distractions behind; this event is a return to the organic, AI-free essence of sound. Matt will provide masterful improvisations using the Hangs (the instruments that inspired the creation of Handpans), the Waves (contemporary mallet-played instruments of sound), a collection of carefully curated Himalayan Bowls and many other unique instruments of sound. Immerse yourself in a powerful, natural sonic journey. Space is limited, call to reserve.
In these uncertain and challenging times, one truth remains constant: everything is always changing. When we seek stability in the shifting landscape of the external world, we inevitably encounter suffering. True steadiness arises only when we accept the nature of impermanence and begin to root ourselves more deeply within our own being.
From that inner ground, we can gently cultivate gratitude for all that continues to nourish and sustain us. At the same time, we are called to open our hearts wider—to meet the suffering around us with a deeper, more generous compassion.
In doing so, we become quiet participants in the healing of the world, contributing—through presence, kindness, and awareness—to a greater field of love and light.
Please join us in community as we gather in sacred circle—remembering what is true and meaningful, and reflecting that shared wisdom back to one another.
